Villa Maria Community Center

Nestled in the rolling hills of Western Pennsylvania in Lawrence County near the Ohio border, Villa Maria Community Center is the Motherhouse of the Sisters of Humility of Mary.

The Center is located on 726 acres of picturesque grounds that include farmlands, an organic garden, wetlands, a bird sanctuary and nature trails.

This pastoral setting regularly teems with energy and life, as children from the neighboring areas participate in Head Start and after-school programs through the Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center.

Retreatants from all over the country gather for prayer and reflection with celebrated presenters at Villa Maria Retreat Center.

Visitors experience hands-on programs in ecology and environmental awareness through Farm-Based Environmental Education (FBEE).

The Community Center also houses the administrative offices of The Center for Learning, as well as The Villa Shoppe, which offers spiritual books, CDs and gifts.

Also on the grounds of the Community Center is Villa Maria Residential Services, which offers holistic, affordable living and specialized programs for seniors.

Villa Maria Conference Center is used by the ministries for various faith-based and value-based education programs. The Conference Center is also available to outside groups and organizations for hosting their own retreats and meetings. Download Facilities Brochure
